Talk 'N Text coach Chot Reyes denied Tuesday rumors that Tropang Texters big man Ali Peek underwent surgery following a shooting incident in Mandaluyong City Monday evening.
Reyes said on his Twitter account that Peek was resting as of late Tuesday afternoon. "Reports that Ali Peek has undergone surgery are NOT TRUE. He's sleeping right now."

He also asked the public to respect the "No visitor" policy at the Medical City where Peek is confined.
Mandaluyong City police are tracking down a gunman who shot Peek outside the RFM gymnasium Monday night.
Peek is the Texters' center/forward in the Philippine Basketball Association.
Several players, league officials and fans tweeted messages of sympathy and support and all are hoping the gunman would be caught soonest. — JVP, GMA News
